Short CV

   Mr. Tarmo Pihl is a project manager at Archimedes Foundation and National Contact Point representative for Information Society Technologies (2001), eContent (2002) and eTen (2004) programmes in Estonia. He is also nominated as a delegate to eContent Programme Committee, and is acting national expert for IST Programme Committee. He has graduated University of Tartu, Economics Department in 2000. Since 2001 Mr. Pihl has received a international project management experience in 3 finished FP5 funded projects: Estonian eVikings, IDEAL-IST FP5 and INBANKSS. Since Nov 2002 he performs assistant manager tasks in eVikings II project, and partner role in several smaller projects like IST Mentor+, STAR-NET, Finance IST NMS and PRO_NMS. Mr. Pihl has been a lecturer at numerous conferences and participated in Estonian IT cluster study. Due to his professional position as NCP for IST Programme he has good access to international RTD networks, excellent knowledge in funding acquisition and wide relations with major Estonian IT companies and IST research performers.
