Name: Jean-Claude MAROT

Jean-Claude Marot, is an ICT Consultant since more than 25 years. From about 12 years ago, he was involved with EDNES in several European projects about organisational impact of Information Technologies, e-work and e-learning (STACCIS, WISTCIS, TELESOL, TELEBALT). From 5 years ago he assists the French Polynesia and other Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) of European Union in order to improve their participation in the IST programme. Before creating JC Consultants, he was, for 14 years, researcher and Head of the Department " Social Management of Technical Innovation " in IDATE, one of the first independent research institutes founded in Europe (1977) for the study of socio-economic impacts of Information Technologies. He holds a master degree in Telecommunication technologies and in Sociology. He wrote several articles and books about new methods of working and learning in the Information Society, of which two in the “Presses Universitaires de France “ editions : “Le Télétravail” and “La Téléformation”. Currently as consultant and professor, he is In charge, of onlines course in the French University of Marne La Vallée (since 1996) and in the vocational training institut CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts).
