   Arnis Kokorevics, Dr. chem. 20.01.1960; male, Latvian. Education: 1978-1983 Latvian State University, Faculty of Chemistry; 1988-1992 Postgraduate studies at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry (LSIWCh); 1993 Doctor's degree in chemistry (Promotion Council of LSIWCh); 2000-present - University of Latvia, Faculty of Law, part-time student of law. Employment: 1981-present LSIWCh: technician, engineer, researcher, leading researcher, project leader; 2000-2003 work in private companies: marketing of laboratory equipment; since 2005 - leader of the FP6 project "Latvian Researchers Mobility Centre: establishing and operation". Main areas of research: Wood structure - fractal geometry and scaling approach; high pressure and shear deformation action on wood, legal and organizing aspects of international and intersectorial mobility of researchers. Professional Experience and Activities: Co-author of more than 70 scientific publications and patents, participation in more than 10 int. scientific conferences.
