Mara Gulbe

Mara Gulbe is born in 1951. At present she is Associated professor at University of Latvia, Faculty of Economics and management. In 1974 graduated from University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics as mathematician. Since 1974 she is employed at University of Latvia. In 1992 she obtained her doctor degree in mathematics. Pedagogical and scientific interests are in the area of mathematical modeling of economical processes. She is author of 42 publications (scientific papers, abstracts of conference proceedings and lecture notes and textbooks for students). In last 10 years project manager of many projects in the area ICT applications. Her main current research activities are in the field of Information Society characterising indicators, the consequences of the ICT and the methodological issues on IS research.
