Dina Berzina graduate of the University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, MSc in 1993, is lecturer and researcher at the University of Latvia and is working for NCP system since 1999. She is Latvian National Contact Point for FP6 IST priority. Along with NCP team is experienced in managing FP5 and FP6 projects - co-ordinator for PROGRESS and EUROPRAXIS; partner in a number of IST projects: NetCee, IST MENTOR+, Finance NMS IST, IDEALIST34, ATVN-EU-GP, PRO-MNS, FINANCE-NMS-IT dealing with training and networking. Dina Berzina has been on "Intensive training Course for European Research Advisers from Accession States" in Bonn (Germany) 1999, "Baltic States Training Seminar on FP5 for local and Regional EU Advisors" in Jurmala (Latvia) 2000 and "Sixth Framework Programme course on Successful Proposal Writing" in Warsaw (Poland) 2003 as well as on EC Training sessions for FP6 NCPs in Brussels in 2002 and 2003. In 2003 Dina Berzina was appointed as Seconded National Expert in DG Research. In 2005 she was approved as Reviewer for DG InfSo e-Ten programme eMAC project.
